Tilana™ Reserve™ Ready for Retail Launch

San Diego—Monday, May 7, 2007— Tilana Systems Corporation ( www.tilana.com) today announced it is finished with beta testing and ready to launch its new file sync and CDP (Continuous Data Protection) service for Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows 2000.

The company is eager to bring Tilana Reserve to market. It has seen that existing and emerging online backup offerings aren't complete solutions to the needs of today's consumers and SMBs.

While most online backup services only allow replication of files still stored on a single protected computer, Tilana Reserve makes use of its remote storage with encrypted automatic multi-computer file sync, managed perpetual archive, and secure web access.

Tilana Reserve provides true minute-by-minute CDP, which saves file changes as version history in personal data center storage. And when files are deleted from a protected computer they're automatically archived in the remote storage space for as long as needed.

Secure Exclusive Access Through Any Web Browser

When users are away from their computers where the Tilana Reserve utility software has been installed, anything stored and updated in the remote data space is accessible from the Tilana.com web site through secure login from any web browser. Files can be securely downloaded from, or uploaded to the remote storage space through the browser. When overwritten by a file that's been uploaded, any file already stored remotely will be simply updated with a newer version in its stored version history. Files new to the remote space, as well as updates to files already stored there, will also automatically sync back down to any computer on account that's been configured to do so immediately after the files are uploaded.

Sync for All Files and Folders, Across Multiple Computers, Automatically

Far more than just the syncing of contacts and pictures offered by limited services now emerging, Tilana Reserve syncs all kinds of files. PC users can now remotely store, continuously protect, and automatically sync any kind of file that's generated, downloaded, or updated on their computers. Changes to files and folders on any of the computers configured to sync will automatically update on the other computers configured to use the same Tilana Reserve account. Even files deleted from one machine are automatically deleted from another, while archived permanently and securely in the customer's personal off-site Tilana Reserve data center space.

Enterprise-Class Functionality and Service, Priced For The SMB and Consumer

Tilana Reserve is packaged in two editions as a standard single computer Protection account or a multi-computer Sync account, and also introduces a revolutionary pricing model for remote disk space: Pay Once. Customers subscribed to either account will pay the same per GB one time for their personal secure off-site storage space, and pay the unchanging monthly service fee for ongoing access to it. Tilana Reserve temporarily remains free while still in beta, until full retail launch when specific details on pricing will be released.

The Tilana Reserve desktop software is a free download, installs in about a minute and requires little if any configuration. Users can choose to enable an unlimited number of computers with the software, and then selectively protect and/or synchronize files and folders on those computers via their personal remote storage space.

After initial whole file upload, delta transmissions containing any saved changes to protected files are quickly transferred to the data center (in the case of file syncing, to and from the data center), where they are stored in the user's personal remote storage for as long as needed. Version histories are then made immediately available through the desktop software or through the Web interface, which can be securely used from most browsers running on any computer.
